I feel very proud of Redlands and I am excited about the interesting developments that we have planned for the next year. When people ask me why Redlands is so special, I find it very easy to answer. Redlands Community Primary School is such a busy and friendly place to be, all members of staff are committed to providing a curriculum which is both challenging and fun for all children regardless of ability. It is our aim at Redlands to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to reach their full potential and aim for the excellence that they deserve.

Children who attend Redlands join our school in the year that they are four and come from within and from out of our catchment area. Other children join us later on in their school career and quickly settle into their new school life, making friends and learning routines with help from their new teacher and class mates.

Redlands was most recently inspected by OfSTED in November 2007. The inspection was very successful and recognised the many strengths of Redlands school. A copy of the summary of the OfSTED inspection report can be obtained from our school office. This prospectus contains a number of direct quotations from our inspection report.
